Singapore (RHO) – In Cooperation with Robogrind on their Second Worldwide Networking Event

On 28 October 2011, as a consequence of the successful event in Houston in April 2011, Robogrind Oy, the specialist in corrosion treatment of Stainless Steel tank containers from Finland, set up Robogrind’s Second Worldwide Networking Event in cooperation with its trading partner, Kerry-ITS, in the depot of Kerry-ITS (Singapore Regional Head Office).

This was an exhibit and networking event, which showcased “live” demonstration of the Robot on its cost effective polishing and grinding expertise, using specially modified ISO tank from Kerry-ITS. Kerry-ITS is the first and one and only ISO tank depot to purchase and introduce Robotic Grinding technology in Asia. Currently, Kerry-ITS has

invested in 2 machines in its Singapore Regional Head Office, and plan for the next one in their new depot in Kerry-ITS Kandla, India, which will be starting operations from March 2012 onwards.

Kerry-ITS hosted this grand event with lunch, wine and beer, together with enrichment programs on safety measures and various depot response drills. Guests joined the Guided Depot Tour to understand more on our Automatic Cleaning and Bio-Reactor Treatment Systems. Attended guests included local and overseas customers from the major players of the industry, such as Nippon Concept, Hoyer Global, VOTG Tanktainer, Bulkhaul, Trifleet, TAL International, EXSIF Worldwide, BASF and Vopak. Kerry-ITS is also proud to have the Sales Director, of Hazardous Cargo Bulletin, Mr Gregory Emmenis, to attend this event, which he had also publicized an editorial news of this event in the January edition of HCB magazine.

With this event, more players in this industry has understand the great benefits of using Robogrind machines for their tanks, and many were impressed by this time-reducing and cost effective technology, as well as the beautiful finishing of the grinding works. They are more confident in sending their tanks into Kerry-ITS for servicing.
